"Korean Bolt", Biwesa Won 2 Gold Medals

"Korean Bolt", Daniel Kashama Biwesa won two gold medals at the 49th Autumn National Middle and High School Athletics Championships.

Biwesa helped the victory of the team at 400m relay in the men's high school race held at Boeun Public Stadium, on August 11th.

Wongok High School won the race by 42.09, the team consisted of Cho Woo-jin, Choi Myung-jin, Lee Yoo-kwon and Biwesa.

It was a close match between Kyungnam Sports High School, team consisted of Lee Hyun-myung, Kang Min-soo, Baek Seung-hoon and Huh Jae-joon, who finished the race second with a result of 42.28.

On the second day of the competition on the 9th, Biwesa won the men's 100m race with a result of 10.69, breaking the previous record of 10.71. He won two gold medals by 100m race and 400m relay race.

Biwesa took over the baton from Lee Yoo-kwon, the team's third runner, and led the team to victory with an overwhelming speed in the final section of the race.

Bewesa said, "As a result of our hard work on the race, I want to give a perfect score of 10 to ourselves."
