Group BTS swept the global charts on the U.S. Billboard.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 27th, BTS's digital single "Dynamite" has topped the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Billboard Global' charts for two consecutive weeks, becoming the third time in its history to top two charts simultaneously.
Both 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Billboard Global' charts are newly established last month, and the rankings are based on the streaming and sales in more than 200 regions. BTS has topped the charts eight times in total just in this month.
"Dynamite" also remains at the top of other Billboard charts as well. It topped the 'Digital Song Sales' for nine consecutive weeks, and ranked 20th on the 'Radio Song'. It has also been on the rise in the 11th place in 'Pop Song,' 12th in 'Canada Hot 100,' 16th in 'Streaming Song' and 19th in 'Adult Pop Song.'
Also, "Dynamite" ranked seventh on Billboard's main singles chart 'Hot 100' and is on the long run. Upon its release on August 21, it has been consistently at the top of the chart, becoming the first Korean singer to reach the top for two consecutive weeks, and topping the chart three times and ranking second four times for more than two months.
In addition, BTS have also ranked 12th on the main album chart 'Billboard 200' with the album "Skool Luv Affair," released by in 2014;
"Skool Luv Affair" is BTS's second mini album released in 2014, and in the same year, BTS released "Skool Luv Affair Special Addition," with 10 more songs added to the original album as well as remix versions of new songs "Miss Right" and "Like It."
The album was selected as the No. 1 album in August with overwhelming support from fans around the world in the "Favour of Preference on Re-sale of BTS Video Publishing and Albums" conducted through Weverse, the global official fan community platform. As a result, "Skool Luv Affair" was re-released for the first time in six years, and ranked 12th in 'Billboard 200.'
In addition to the "Skool Luv Affair" album, BTS has put three albums on 'Billboard 200,' including its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7", and 'LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer.'
BTS has also continued to record No. 1 on the 'Social 50 chart,' which measures artists' popularity based on SNS around the world, for the 172nd consecutive week and 202nd overall.
Meanwhile, BTS has been nominated for two categories at the '2020 American Music Awards' and will simultaneously release its new album "BE (Deluxe Edition)" worldwide on November 20th.
