BTS made a new history by ranking the first place on "Billboard 200" with its new album and ranking fourth in "Hot 100."
The Billboard reported in an article analyzing the "Hot 100" chart that BTS's "ON" has entered fourth place in "Hot 100."
Billboard explained that "BTS achieves its third and highest-peaking Hot 100 top 10, and the highest-charting song ever by a K-pop group (and first such top five hit), as "On" roars onto the chart at No. 4."
"'On' previously reached the Hot 100's top 10 with 'Boy With Luv' (featuring Halsey), which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the chart dated April 27, 2019, and "Fake Love," which launched at No. 10 on June 2, 2018."
"'On' sets the record for the highest-debuting Hot 100 entry for a K-pop song, four ranks better than the arrival of 'Boy With Luv'(featuring Halsey)", Billboard added.
In addition, Billboard said, "'On' charges onto Digital Song Sales at No. 1, becoming BTS' third leader, after "Idol," featuring Nicki Minaj (Sept. 8, 2018), and "Fake Love" (June 2, 2018).
Meanwhile, the "Hot 100" chart, in which BTS' fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7" topped this week's "Billboard 200" and its title track "ON" ranked fourth, can be checked on the Billboard's official website.
